252 DINING TABLE

This dining table's base is made of durable bentwood, thanks to modern technology. Despite its slim design, it provides reliable strength and stability, adding a unique touch to any interior. The 90 cm diameter solid wood top is 25 mm thick, perfect for small kitchens or dining rooms accommodating 4 people comfortably.

The centerpiece of the renowned Punton collection is a circular seat, which was inspired by the traditional technique of bending furniture and artfully juxtaposed with its straight legs. The seat can be finished in beech veneer or an upholstery from Category B or C fabric from TON's fabric pallete. 

MATERIALS

The set is produced in Czech Republic from PEFC certified Beech wood, the best known and most commonly used deciduous trees. Beech wood is light to pinkish in colour and features texture that is not very distinctive. The wood is hard, relatively strong, less elastic, homogeneous and dense. The beech finish for this dining set is available in the following options:

// Varnished or oiled finish:  lacquered (water based varnish, UV protective, easy to clean and maintain) or oiled (matt protective layer that does not peel or crack and allows wood to breathe; minor damages can be sanded and re-oiled with this surface treatment; oil also brings out the natural colour of the wood). 

// Stained finish*: staining is applied by either immersion or spraying and then finished with a layer of transparent lacquer. This finish allows for the individual wood characteristics to be visible. Staining does not affect the wood structure.
