Designed by Poul M. Volther, the J48 chair was firstly introduced in 1951. Choose from a range of frame finishes and seat materials to suit your aesthetic preferences, all delivered fully assembled for your convenience. WOOD FINISH

Lacquered / painted / smoked oak finish: lacquered (water based varnish, UV protective, easy to clean and maintain); minor damages can be sanded and re-lacquered with this surface treatment; it also brings out the natural colour of the wood). The paint treatment adds a protective layer, increasing the furniture's resistance to wear and tear, scratches, and stains. Smoked finish allows the natural grain and texture of the wood to show through, preserving the beauty and character of the oak wood.

SEAT FINISH

Leather: Leather is strong and durable, stains and spills can be cleaned with a damp cloth, making it easy to maintain. It is also resistant to dust mites, pet dander, and other allergens. In addition, leather ages very well and looks better as it gets older.
