TON's La Zitta Chair with a natural cane weave seat is timeless and understated chair with a traditional form, reinterpreted with contemporary proportions and intricate craftsmanship. Standing as the ideal representation of TON's generations-tested manufacturing processes, this chair is constructed from beechwood (PEFC certified) frame using wood bending technology as well as a cane weave seat, which together complete its ergonomic design, aesthetics and comfort.

La Zitta is a compact chair that is not only suitable for dining at home, but also at bistros, cafes and restaurants. For contract use, additional mesh can be applied under the cane weave for added durability.

As well as the natural lacquered or oiled beech finish, La Zitta chair frame can be stained, leaving the woodgrain visible under the chosen shade, or fully covered with a pigment:

// Varnished or oiled beech finish: lacquered (water based varnish, UV protective, easy to clean and maintain) or oiled (matt protective layer that does not peel or crack and allows wood to breathe; minor damages can be sanded and re-oiled with this surface treatment; oil also brings out the natural colour of the wood).

// Stained beech finish*: staining is applied by either immersion or spraying and then finished with a layer of transparent lacquer. This finish allows for the individual wood characteristics to be visible. Staining does not affect the wood structure.

// Pigmented beech finish*: pigment completely covers the surface of the wood leaving a smooth, fully covered appearance.
