Meet the J164C stool! The counter stool has found its way into our homes as MDB Mobler has introduced more counters and high tables in the interiors – especially in the kitchen. Measuring 68 centimetres, the stool is lower than a bar stool, but significantly higher than a dining chair and can be used for a multitude of purposes in the home or in commercial environments.

Featuring a square paper cord seat, J164C stool is both comfortable and a perfect match for other pieces of furniture in the Danish design tradition. The J164C counter stool was designed by Jørgen Bækmark and was being launched to mark his 90th birthday. This cozy stool is available in black-painted solid oak and natural solid oak.

WOOD FINISH

Lacquered solid oak finish: It is impervious to water, and maintains its transparency as it ages. Lacquer finishes are popular because they don't yellow with age, protect well against liquids, and require very little maintenance. Oak is also a very durable wood so furniture can be used for years to come.

Painted solid oak finish: the paint adds a protective layer, increasing the furniture's resistance to wear and tear, scratches, and stains. Water-based paint finish allows the natural grain and texture of the wood to show through, preserving the beauty and character of the oak wood.
