1 x EMU SHINE teak top table (225 x 100 cm) / TAUPE frame
8 x EMU SHINE armchairs with teak armrests / TAUPE frame
8 x EMU outdoor cushions / Trama white
The modern, quintessential lines are what differentiates EMU's Shine collection from the rest. A beautiful blend of unfaltering design and the mix of aluminium and teak gives a light, airy feeling of ideal comfort.
The 8-10 seater Shine table features slatted teak table top with soft rounded corners giving it an aesthetically pleasing finish. Together with Shine armchairs in coated aluminium frame from the same range this table creates stunning outdoor dining set for beautiful terraces and patios.
Shine armchairs are stackable (up to 4). The seat features cut-out lines that add interest to the style and serve as a practical feature allowing the water to drain through easily. The teak armrests are not only a distinctive design element but also pleasant to touch. An interesting combination of an aluminium structure and FSC 100% teak* is perfect for outdoor use.
* Forest Stewardship Council certified teak from forests of highest environmental and social standards.
The specially for Shine collection designed outdoor cushions are made of polypropylene fabric: these are fibers that are generally very fine, with a high surface tension, thanks to which water can pass through and flow out quickly. Strength and durability are among the main advantages offered by this material, which also provides good thermal insulation and comfort to the diners.

MAINTENANCE
Aluminium
To keep the product in good condition for a long time we recommend cleaning it regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent, particularly in damp locations with marine climate. During prolonged periods on non-use it is advisable to clean and store furniture in a sheltered area.
Teak
As it is a natural material, changes in colour or cracks due to the level of humidity and sudden changes in temperature may be observed. If it does not receive any maintenance treatment with the periodic application of common and specific oil-based protective products, the surface will weather into a silvery-grey finish that can be removed with light surface sanding and subsequent polishing with a hessian cloth. Small surface stains caused by oil or other foodstuffs must be removed immediately, before the wood absorbs them, by sanding the area concerned and polishing it with a hessian cloth. When the wood is wet for the first time, it is normal for the surface to become slightly rough when it dries; the initial polished-effect can be restored with light surface sanding and subsequent polishing with a hessian cloth.
